ZTE's new-gen DCI-BOX successfully commercialized by Master Internet, a leading Brazilian ISP
- ZTE's DCI-BOX, the ZXONE 7000 C2D, supports 40x800G transmission with a single fiber capacity of up to 32T, meeting Brazil's service growth requirements in the next five to ten years
- The ZXONE 7000 features a 2U high optical-electrical integrated design, with a single subrack capacity of up to 12.8T and ultra-low Gbit power consumption of 0.1W per Gbit
S?o Paulo, Brazil, 1 November 2024 - ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a global leading provider of integrated information and communication technology solutions, today announced that its new-generation DCI-BOX has been successfully commercialized in the inter-provincial backbone network project of Master Internet, a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Brazil, and the first 200G link has been commissioned. Upon completion, the network will cover two major economic regions of the country: S?o Paulo State and Minas Gerais State, the two largest Brazilian states.
This will significantly enhance the speed and quality of connections between key economic hubs in Brazil, empower Master Internet to build advanced communication infrastructure, and boost domestic economic growth in Brazil.
With the rapid development of digital services, Internet traffic in Brazil has experienced explosive growth, and existing networks are under significant expansion pressure. To meet the increasing demand for higher data transmission rates and bandwidth, Master Internet is committed to maintaining its excellent service quality by evaluating faster and more reliable connection solutions.
Under this backdrop, Master Internet has collaborated with industry partners, including ZTE to initiate the construction of inter-provincial backbone optical networks. In this project, ZTE’s new-generation DCI-BOX, the ZXONE 7000 C2D, supports 40x800G transmission system with a single fiber capacity of up to 32T, meeting Brazil's service growth requirements in the next five to ten years and providing sufficient network capacity guarantee for the customer. The ZXONE 7000 features a 2U high optical-electrical integrated design, with a single subrack capacity of up to 12.8T. This ultra-high integration allows for flexible and convenient deployment and meets the capacity expansion needs of the customer in diverse scenarios.
Additionally, this project uses a Web-based Graphic User Interface (WebGUI) that enables the customer to remotely manage and configure settings through a browser, eliminating the need for additional network management tools and servers. This simplification streamlines management processes, while effectively reducing network deployment costs and saving customer investments.
Furthermore, the pluggable modules used in this project boast ultra-low power consumption at the 0.1W level, making them perfectly suited for the power supply and cooling requirements of data centers. Beyond the product performance advantages, ZTE also leverages its global service network to offer customers efficient and timely after-sales support, ensuring the stable operation of their networks.
Moving forward, ZTE remains firmly committed to assisting Master Internet in building an efficient and stable network infrastructure in Brazil to achieve wider coverage and deeper service penetration. This initiative will promote the comprehensive upgrading of Brazil's digital economy, support sustainable social-economic development, and create a brighter future for the digital economy.
"It is imperative that we secure the support of ZTE, a leading provider of telecommunications and internet technologies, to facilitate our expansion within the Brazilian market," said Douglas Adolpho, Engineering Director at Master Internet.
